Their version encourages polygamy for older men (3+ wives required) and extensive procreation (no birth control here).

Hanna, the heroine of this uneven coming-of-age novel with a fantasy element from Canadian author Meades (The Last Hiccup), lives in Clearhaven, an idyllic rustic town whose inhabitants pract. Hanna Who Fell From the Sky first appealed to me in the summer, as the book came highly recommended and one of the greatest appeals is that Harlequin published books such as this one, (which can be somewhat classified as a Young Adult book, although it’s far more than just this description), and that it was not a romance novel.

Hanna Who Fell from the Sky had so much potential. I was intrigued right away by the synopsis and by the beginning of the story.

In my opinion, if Hanna Who Fell from the Sky stayed strictly a contemporary novel, without the fabulism elements, this would have easily been a five star book.
